About Us

Our Story Begins with Southern Flavor
Beau Legs Fish & Chips opened its doors in 2009 with one goal: bring authentic southern seafood and comfort food to the Pacific Northwest. While Lacey, WA offered many dining options, few served the bold, soulful flavors found in southern kitchens. We knew there was a gap in the local food scene—and we set out to fill it.
With roots in southern cooking and a passion for seafood, we developed a menu that combines Cajun and Creole influences with Pacific Northwest freshness. From gumbo and jambalaya to catfish po’boys and fried shrimp platters, every dish we serve is a tribute to southern tradition and flavor.
What Makes Beau Legs Different
We’re not just another seafood restaurant. We’re a southern comfort food destination built on:
Authenticity
Our recipes are rooted in southern cooking traditions. Nothing is watered down or mass-produced.
Freshness
We make everything in-house, from our remoulade sauce to our cornbread.
Community Connection
We’re deeply tied to Lacey and surrounding areas, serving regulars and newcomers alike.
Reliable Quality
Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, your plate is cooked with care and consistency.
Why We Do What We Do
Southern food is more than a menu—it’s a way of life. It’s about gathering with family, cooking with care, and seasoning every bite with soul. We created Beau Legs to offer that same feeling to our Lacey community.
In an area where authentic southern cooking is rare, we’ve become known for offering a unique experience: bold flavors, generous portions, and a level of hospitality that brings people back. Every order is cooked to perfection using house-made spices, fresh ingredients, and recipes that have been refined over the years.
We’re proud to be a family-owned and operated business that values consistency, culture, and community.
Meet the People Behind the Plate
Behind every dish is a team that loves what they do. From the kitchen staff who carefully prepare every plate to the friendly front-of-house team that welcomes guests, everyone at Beau Legs shares the same goal—create great food and make people feel at home.
Our founders brought their southern background to the Pacific Northwest with a vision of opening a place where flavor meets comfort. With over a decade in business, that vision has become a reality that continues to grow with every customer we serve.
Our staff is trained not just to deliver food, but to deliver an experience. Whether you’re picking up a to-go order or dining in for a full meal, our goal is to treat you like family every time.
A Menu Full of Flavor and Heart
Our menu combines seafood staples with southern-inspired dishes made fresh to order. Customers come to Beau Legs for the taste of the South they can’t get anywhere else in Lacey. Here’s what we’re known for:
Gumbo
A slow-simmered seafood stew with a deep, rich roux and hearty portions.
Jambala
Spiced rice, sausage, and shrimp come together in one unforgettable dish.
Fish & Chips
Cod or salmon, fried fresh and served hot with slaw, fries, and hush puppies.
Shrimp and Grits
Southern classic done right with buttery shrimp over creamy grits.
Po’Boys
Authentic southern sandwiches with crisp fried seafood and all the fixings.
We also offer catering for events and have a growing line of house-made sauces available in our online shop.
Our Commitment to Lacey and the Surrounding Community
Since opening, we’ve grown alongside the Lacey community. We support local events, cater to area businesses, and serve families who’ve become regulars over the years. We’re proud to be more than just a restaurant—we’re a community gathering space where great food brings people together.
Our success is built on loyalty, consistency, and the simple fact that when people taste real southern food made with heart, they remember it—and they come back.
